Agnes to Piehe was born on or a few days before 29 March 1772 in Vollerbenhof Schöler, Pye, Wallenhorst, Iburg, Osnabrück, Heiliges Römisches Reich, daughter of Joannes Bernardus Schöler (~1742–1788) and Catharina Angela Borgman ( –1797).[1] She was baptised in the catholic church St. Alexander in Wallenhorst on 29 March 1772.[1] Her godmother was Maria Agnes Siebenburgen and her baptismal witnesses were Jürgen to Piehe sive Albers and Catharina Margaretha Siebenburgen.[1]
